Make Mine a Lion (Missed, Matched, Made #1)

Make Mine a Lion (Missed, Matched, Made #1) Sweet short storyThis was a really sweet short story There were a few editing errors, towards the end of the story but they were not bad enough to really detracted from the story It was a quick read with a nice HEA. What can you expect in a 1 hour read This was cute and I liked Ryan There were some typos when referring to Ryan and his wolf as she that I was bothered by along with a couple of other things like self lubricating butt holes and unresolved family pack issues but overall it was okay I don t think I ll be reading anything in the series but not a bad way to spend an hour before bed. Ryan Has Given Up On Finding His True Mate As A Latent, A Shifter Who Has Never Shifted And An Omega Who S Never Had A Heat, He Knows He S Broken Goods But He Hasn T Given Up On Finding Love, So He Applies To Ms Maggie S Matchmaking Services But When The Match She Plans For Him Isn T Quite What He Expects, He Thinks He Might Have To Give Up On That Hope As Well But While Ms Maggie S Plan Might Have Gone Awry, She May Still Have Set Him On The Path To Find Everything He S Hoped For So others have said that they saw female pronouns in this, but the book is written from first person POV, so it s all I instead of he or she I don t remember reading major pronoun problems when I read this, so maybe this has been fixed Either way, this was a cute, short story I think I would have wanted story since it was super rushed at the end, and I m that person who wants the mpreg to really happen, not just quickly mentioned and that s the end. A short story Was a good story However there were some errors with he she, and the male character talking about having time to put on his make up and dress to get ready That part made me stop and think was story originally a female character which was switched to a male for it to b a MM story and it wasn t corrected during editing All in all was a good story But for the errors in the book. Cute Fluffy Needs an editor like woah Like really All of these stories are really good and I want so badly to love them but damnit Just go back over them before you hit the publish button Ask a friend to beta read or something But yes Cute Love Fluffy fluffyness of joy. What a great little story Loved the storyline and yeah, could have been longer, characters developed, dramatically drawn out separations when eventually little olde omega or alpha come to their senses and mate Sometimes one needs a short like this Did not even notice any grammar or spell errors I know we live in times where gender is not an obvious thing but this book took it a bit too far It was like author didn t know or remember if s he s writting about a woman or a man As a result for big part of the story I couldn t connect to the character because I didn t know how to classify her him In other words the story could be much better if it saw an editor. Could have been 3 stars but for the extremely poor editing The gender switching is unfortunate but so is the lack of development in the relationship The story needed after Ryan meets his love interest, like 50% On the flip side, the worldbuilding and premise were pretty good and there was potential for it to be a great story Professional editing would be advisable. Three American authors wrote this There was a LOT of odd phrasing and bad sentence structure that made me think the authors native languages was not English There were also too many pronoun inconsistencies so many that the errors repeatedly took me out of the story This is why I don t like reading M F books changed to M M It s typically an auto DNF for me, but the sex scene was hot and the only reason I finished the book.
