Lola is trying to move on from a terrible past, and she doesn t trust men, or her heart Aidan is sex on a stick, and he pursues her, breaking down her barriers But lies, deceit and betrayal play a part here to drive a wedge between them Will they survive Good suspenseful romance with some heat.

OVER THINKING WILL GET YOU IN TROUBLE ARC received for an honest reviewFull review on .The characters in this book are guilty of over thinking on every level The character Lola is filled with doubt about the male character, Aidan , at every turn I liked the book but Lola s constant second guessing and doubts about Aidan became annoying and tiresome Aidan was seductive, handsome, well spoken, creative, thoughtful, and clearly hot for Lola , but she shot him down over and over.Lola definitely has trust issues that will be hard to resolve. The last part of the book redeems much of the faults of the character Lola s dysfunction Mostly but not all

I voluntarily read an arc of this book for a fair and honest review Disillusioned by his life in New York and a broken engagement, Aidan Connelly chucks it all and takes a two year sabbatical to Asia to clear his head Returning to NY he s not convinced that this is where he will stay Lola is a magazine editor When we meet Lola she is reliving, in a dream, a scary relationship with an ex Lola is cautious about men Every morning on her way to work Lola starts her day with a stop at the Kismet coffee shop The morning after her dream she sees a handsome man in the shop After running into this man at the kismet for several days, he finally works up the courage to ask her out And here s where Aidan and Lola s relationship begins Aidan s dialogue is just stunningly written There really are no other words for it A reader can t help but become drawn in by him It s exciting and alluring Lola, unlike me, the reader, is a harder sell Here s the thing, Aidan is perfect on paper no pun intended however, an event happened in the first few pages of this book and I m hoping this event has nothing to do with Aidan and Lola Aidan is confusing, while Lola has gotten over some of her hang ups it is Aidan who holds off sex This story is just full of story The complexity is staggering and while the beginning reads like the first moments on a roller coasterthe slow steady upwardly mobile climb, once tights its peak it is a wild ride.

Sex, Money, and the Price of Truth is a little hard for me to review On one hand, I love Aidan and Lola s best friend, Maddie, and her husband, Trevor I also like Maddie s mom, her stepdad and her stepbrothers But, Lola, God, Lola I can t stand her character She s about as bitchy and ridiculous a character that I can imagine She s incredibly self absorbed and selfish and I never connected with her I like the premise of the story, and I like the twisty reveal of Aidan s past and the setup of their relationship But, it languished A LOT, and the pacing was off until the end Once it was revealed who had been targeting Lola and Aidan, though I had already guessed their identity, the pace picked up and I was able to get into the story But, before that, especially around the middle, I was bored and took to skimming through some of it I feel like if Aidan had been transported into a different story with a different, likable heroine, I might have loved Sex, Money, and the Price of Truth But, the way it s written, I just couldn t get into it and I couldn t help but to dislike Lola immensely I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

I received an ARC of this book for an honest review The Aidan and Lola are irresistible and you can t help but wanting to cheer their characters on Both have baggage that they are trying to put behind them Aidan is such an honorable man He is patient and holds off on intimacy to give Lola a chance to feel comfortable with them I love how the story builds to its climax Great Story.

Worth the Read I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review A suspense romance that focused on the love story The mystery was easy to figure out but was secondary to the story Well written complex flawed characters The beautifully written H h drew me into the story and kept me to the end Wish H hadn t seemed like a doormat at times.
