Storm Warden I enjoyed this quick mythological romance It has a lot of banter and snark and enough chemistry between the leads to keep it interesting Also death unicorns I m curious to see where the series goes next. What do you do when you can t remember who you used to be Especially when you used to be a human with the heart of a death unicorn This novella is a solid, snarky, slightly steamy romance set in a new fantasy world where fallible, killable gods whose power has turned into license and death unicorns whose justice has turned into vengeance have spent decades in conflict I like the protagonist a lot I m looking forward to finding out what she does in the sequel My favorite moment after some unfriendly children pelt her with spoiled food, she collects and eats it with calm good humor Throw some , kids I received an ARC of this novella in exchange for an honest review.
