Summer Love A Stand Alone Contemporary Summer Romance That Ll Have You Laughing, Crying, And Longing To Read It Again And Again Simone Needed A MiracleShe Needed HimSimone St James Was A Librarian From The Tourist Town Of Bandon, OregonTwo Summers Ago Before All Hell Broke Loose She Met Sam He Was Everything She Ever Wanted In A Man Smart, Funny, And Jaw Droppingly Gorgeous But After Eight Perfect Weeks Together, He Left Without Leaving A NoteShe Hadn T Heard From Him For Nearly Two Freaking Years There D Been Nothing Not A WordUntil He Sent Her An Email Asking Her To Meet So He Could ExplainSeeing Him Might Be A Mistake It Probably Was, But Simone Had To One Last Time, Even It Was Just To Say Goodbye I really loved the story in this book It was a wonderful story about loss and love and illness There is great family interaction and some sorrow, but still there was hope and joy I only had one problem with the story and it bugged me enough to say something I m not sure but I think the author must have changed her mind a few times about how old the baby in the story was because in the beginning she was starting to walk, in the middle she was a small infant of a few months and in the end she was beginning to speak It was a small mistake that didn t really affect the story too much, but it did bother me Still it was a great summer read and I would recommend it. Simone St James fell in love with Sam, breaking her rule of never falling for a tourist After two months together Sam just left and she never heard from him Luckily she had family to help her when she gave birth to their daughter and when she found out she had cancer A while later Simone gets an email from Sam asking to see her so he can explain.I was surprised when Simone agreed to see Sam But a mother will do anything for her child Or maybe she just missed him Whatever the reason she forgave him very fast, jumping into bed with him again I would have liked to have had his wealth addressed and find out how it would affect her Since the timeline didn t flow very well be prepared for that when you read this story This could have been a sad story but Simone is such a strong independent woman that I had to admire her up until she took Sam back. I really loved the story in this book It was a wonderful story about loss and love and illness There is great family interaction and some sorrow, but still there was hope and joy I only had one problem with the story and it bugged me enough to say something I m not sure but I think the author must have changed her mind a few times about how old the baby in the story was because in the beginning she was starting to walk, in the middle she was a small infant of a few months and in the end she was beginning to speak It was a small mistake that didn t really affect the story too much, but it did bother me Still it was a great summer read and I would recommend it. I have a terminal illness,so I completely understand how the h was feeling There is no wrong or right way to treat any illness It s very often choosing between two damned if I do and damned if I don t options The h was a forgiving human being whose only goal was doing what is best for her family This book teaches forgiveness and cherishing ur blessings Plz give it a chance u won t be disappointed Nine months ago Simone had a summer fling with a guy she barely knew, now a mother to a beautiful little girl she has a date to see him again but there is than just the baby they share together that she has to tell him..she is dying of cancer Sam is blown away by the news but is willing to do what it takes for her. This was a very quick read but it was so well written that I was very sad to see it end The dynamic between Simone and Sam is explosive and you are absorbed into their story RaShelle has once again written an amazing book and I look forward to from her Simone who fell in love one summer to a man named Sam then one day he just left but he left something behind aside from Simone that day he left his daughter., but why did he leave and will he return and what will happen when something can take Simone away from HER family this is a ARC review and love reading from Rashelle and cam t wait to see if there is maybe to the story or her family You can pre order this on. I m sort of confused why this book has such a high rating My main complaints very little background info on when the main characters supposedly fell in love watching that happen is my favorite part of a romance and it seemed too short was this a novella and I didn t know that before hand The premise should be good but it just didn t work for me. As followers of my reviews will already know, I am a huge fan of RaShelle Workman and a main reason for this is her ability to write engrossing stories in a variety of genres Another is that her female protagonists are never the archetypal damsel in distress They can be difficult and moody, but are still brave and determined Simone in Summer Love is no different.During the novella, Simone turns 21 She has already experienced first love, been left by this man, fulfilled the role of a single parent and dealt with her own health issues But Simone is positive, refusing to dwell on the problems which would force others to break down and for that I think she charms us even.Summer Love is a short, but heart warming story At the beginning, we want to support Simone by hating Sam, but this becomes impossible Although this is aimed at a New Adult readership, RaShelle Workman is able to communicate the strength of passion between the couple without writing explicit sex scenes.Summer Love is just another example of RaShelle Workman s talent as an author and this is a story I will happily re read, only this time I will make sure I m wearing waterproof mascara This is absolutely an amazing book So glad I got to read this book by an amazing author RaShelle Workman is an author that keeps you entranced in her books so you don t want to put them down and sad when it s over
